Java Architect, Technical Lead Developer, Java 1.6, Spring ideally with Batch, integration, Web Service (Rest and SOAP), H ibernate, Maven, SVN, GIT, Strong JavaScript (ideally Dojo), HTML5 etc, PHP (Nice to have), Strong architect skills, Strong team building and communication skills, Exp of Offshore development.
The Senior Java Architect / Technical Lead Developer is required to assist with development and designs and approaches for new Risk and Compliance, Financial services projects. You will also be responsible for checking progress, direction and output of offshore development teams against agreed design.
Fundamental is your knowledge of Patterns, why they are used, exception handling and how it works. You will also need to display the implications of operating in a multi-threaded environment.
Risk & Compliance systems experience will be an advantage but not essential.
Experience dealing with offshore teams, quality assurance and testing will be essential.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills will be required as you will be required to interact with C-Level executives and other senior Architects.
