My Tier 1 Banking client are looking to appoint an experienced Strategy and Change Transformation Manager for the following:
The role managers and implements the programme vision and delivery of significant cross Group IT transformation work streams. Ensuring thar programme plans are effectively delivered into solutions, milestone outputs and that the programme benefits are communicated and realised.
The role is accountable for a key contribution to the the programm success and actively participates collaboration/engagement with key stakeholders across the IT Group teams. The role needs to be able to effectively form and communicate programme content with all parties.
The IT Strategy & Transformation Team implement the overarching plans, deliver the target operating models and programmes whilst also reviewing the tooling resources and processes to deliver our engineering, operational and support processes across IT.
As an IT Transformation Manager (Process), you’ll manage a process development workstream within a wider programme. The role will require you to work with and support Process experts across the delivery lifecycle managing workshops, defining process maps to deploying and embedding these changes; from Requirements Capture, Design, Software Engineering and Testing, Operational and Service processes that support our business.
You’ll need to have previous experience of the Software Development Programme and Change Transformation experience within a similar-sized organisation (possibly gained as a Consultant) and be able to truly lean our environment through process improvement.
You will be part of a team of Process Analysts, Process Managers and external consultants who will take a fresh view and challenge the current methods and processes – introducing more agility and pace into the development lifecycle through LEAN and AGILE methodologies.
•Maintains relationships with key IT team stakeholders internally and with Partners and 3rd Party
•Proactively identities and provides solutions for any strategic delivery risks and issues
•Manage and deliver to programme milestones –building content, gaining input through facilitation, leading practitioner sessions to skill and develop the Group IT workforce, influencing outcomes to maximise the benefits delivery
•Ensure timely programme reporting is in place and distributed to key stakeholders/Leads in order to drive and influence informed decision making around programme priorities
•To actively build Practitioner skills across all disciplines of Target Operating Model strategic and transformation change models along with specialised IT knowledge
Essential Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of Global Delivery Models and Partnering for IT delivery
Expert & capable practitioner with experience of Design, Development, Testing and Service Delivery.
Stakeholder Management skills at IT Head of Level
Stakeholder Management skills at Practitioner level
People and Process capability development experience
Strong Programme management capabilities around planning and control, benefit and value management, and risk/issue management.
Effective team working across virtual teams.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and in a fast paced environment.
