Roles and Responsibilities:

Application Maintenance to agreed SLA’s

Two teams currently. Production Support and another Environments team.

Model is onshore team and offshore team (third party supplier)

60 available in the teams with 50 offshore. Wythenshaw based.

Fixed price contract driving productivity with third party offshore supplier. Looking for ROI and VFM.

Reduction in problem resolution.

Ideally you will have a background in Application Maintenance and development, incident, change and previous experience of leading teams of around 60 – 70.

Financial Services experience an advantage but will consider large scale critical production support enterprise experience.

My client is looking for an individual who can deliver change, drive efficiency and productivity.

You will have to demostrate where you have implemented productivity and efficiency before with success and measured displayable metrics.

The ability to build strong relationships with clients (business & supplier stakeholders)

Best in class, best practice. My client is looking for an individual who has implemented and sustained such an environment.

Offshore management of an development partner experience is essential

Travel to India once or twice a year etc… Improve relationships and AGILE and other methodologies.

Prepare Change portfolio. 50 Environments are regularly maintained for the change initiatives.

Delivering change and improvement.

Planning and organising.

Ideally, you will have a string technical background and worked your way up through this route currently managing a technical support and or maintenance environment.

Ideally you will have previous budget experience of £2.5-£3.5 m pa.
