Role Purpose
The purpose of the Digital Learning and Development Manager is to manage client stakeholders and client subject matter experts to coordinate the timely and effective delivery of learning and development projects. As the engagement manager you will be responsible for managing a the design to completion for L&D within digital for the client as well as other services lines and functions to deliver client engagements.
Role Responsibilities
Facilitate and lead in the structuring of solutions, concept, design, deliver, complete L&D expertise from the team.
Manage project plans to ensure effective and timely delivery of work products
Delegation and allocation of delivery tasks
Liaise with subject matter experts to drive course content
Defining creative briefs
Manage development timelines and quality standards to ensure that training solutions are produced to client specifications
Presenting the solution to client stakeholders
Support Senior Managers in the creation of client proposals and attend pitch meetings
Skills and Experience
Significant experience within a learning and development or training function for a digital only employer / environment – example online retailer etc
Prior learning and development consulting experience within a training provider would be advantageous but not essential
Ability to translate training needs analysis into meaningful and structured learning courses
People and stakeholder management experience
Project management experience
Proven Digital Native background
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritise conflicting tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
