BSM/ITIL Process & Tools Implementation Project Manager required by our London based client.

The Project Manager will be required, along with the Tech Lead, to improve the customer IT Service Management and Business Service Management practices and processes, and implemenation the client’s new┬áITSM platform by combining data gathered from the business, ad hoc sources, and intelligence from direct engagement with users and other business support staff. The new platform based on HP Service Manager will adopt ITILv3 framework, and integration the HP BSM service assurance platform.

As the Project manager you will be accountable for the planning, documentation of the project, with a large portion on stakeholder management and ensure expectations are aligned and met. You must be Prince2 certified (or equivalent certification), with CMMI experience, and have implemented ITSM Tools and/or involved in enterprise process transformation based on the ITIL process framework.

Other responsibilities will include but not limited to deliver enhancement projects, managing requirements, resource, gaining acceptance (internal/external) and sign-off from key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

– Identify, track (risk and issues management) and deliver improvements to address delivery gaps within service delivery

– Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build consensus, gather feedback, and get sign-off

– Deliver projects on time, to scope and to budget. Report, escalate, and adhere to common project management principles

Ensure project outcomes are measurable and positive – ie drives a positive customer experience and ensure monitoring and Service Management tool is fully supported, robust, and iteratively improved. eg configuration is kept current, new features are installed via rolling patches, vendor relationship is maintained.
