To lead SME teams and engineers to undertake the day to day delivery of a comprehensive functional service and/or complex change projects.
Chief Lead SAP SME is a technical expert who drives integrity and maintenance of the applications which they are responsible for within SAP team. Provides technical expertise to ensure compliance and quality standards are adhered to at all times and assists in leading the technological direction of SAP platform.
The Chief Lead will also ensure SAP Platform teams and engineering teams within SAP platforms continually drive improvements in delivery. As Chief lead you will possess knowledge of applications, technologies and business processes within SAP, an area of expertise, you will leverage quality and innovation within the Platform teams.
•Ability to provide a cross Platform design leadership and provide direction to SAP Platform SME community. Lead design authority for the SAP Platform and seen as the technical expert within the Platform.
•Offer design authority for the SAP Platform and across a number of applications. Review and be involved in the sign off of technical deliverables within the SAP Platform
•Responsible for the quality checking and standard of deliverables at a Platform Level, advising and leading engineering teams to produce technically compliant deliverables at all times.
•Provides direction and motivation to technical resources within the Platform through sound knowledge of Platform function and ability to design technology and provide expertise to meet the requirement standards.
•Responsible for the software design activity within a Platform, ensuring all relevant approved design standards are achieved within the team
•Provides specialist knowledge to input into the strategic direction applications, technologies, tools or business processes within the Platform, ensuring the integrity of technical applications and technology is maintained at all times
•Identifies, clarifies and assesses complex business problems and leads provision of scenario solutions.
•Leads the Initiation of change and identifies opportunities for improving technology solutions within the Platform team and development, incorporating lessons learned into future planning activities
•Manages and builds key stakeholder relationships across individual sphere of influence to improve service across the group.
•Ensures compliance of the Banks IT architecture governance standards, procedures, guidelines, quality standards, and all regulatory and statutory requirements, ensuring the Bank is protected at all times and ensuring adherence to both Group IT project lifecycle and software development lifecycles.
•Proactively shares own knowledge and technical expertise to others within SAP Platform team through consultation, providing advice, and coaching others.
